Celebrating Canada 150

Two cute layouts for you today.  We shared a fabulous Canada Day with our family.  The highlight, of course, is being able to spend time with our grandsons!  Marshall celebrated his first Canada Day at the age of 6 months and in true Canadian style, complete with maple leaf tattoos, sunhat and t-shirt.

I like to put lots of photos on each page and sometimes it's a bit challenging to fit them in and add embellishments too!  This was not my original thought, but once I started moving the photos around I was able to make it work.  Three of the photos are printed in a 3x4" size, thanks to my handy Epson photo printer.  I would recommend one to any scrapbooker, for sure!

Products used:  Paper from Bazzill Basics, Scrapbook Customs, Echo Park and BoBunny, the cute number stickers are from Bella Blvd, and the maple leaves cut from Sizzix dies.

Here's the page I did for my older grandson who played in his Grandpa's band as part of the Canada Day celebration.  Hard to see him in the photo, but he's there.  Also sporting red and white and tattoos everywhere!

Sometimes all you need is the right paper.  This paper is from Scrapbook Customs.  All I did was add some letters (these are Basic Grey alpha stickers), and my photos... There was nothing else I wanted to add.  I used a craft knife to cut around part of the maple leaf so that I can tuck the photo behind it.

Hope you have had a chance to scrapbook your Canada Day.  If not we have lots of Canada papers, embellishments, stickers, even maple leaf brads...
