Yvonne Creations Petit Pierrot Cards

Petit Pierrot

This has become one of my favorite collections.  It is from Yvonne Creations, a division of Find it Trading.  Imported from Holland.  I made this as a set of baby cards, but you could certainly use the paper and punch out elements for any age group.  Anyone with a passion for theatre or music would love it.

Here is the breakdown of my creations:

These little clowns are boys or girls and it is really hard to tell the difference.  This is the boy.  I used the fabulous spiral paper from the 6x6 inch paper pad, and the boy, which comes on a punch out sheet.

Used a leaf die from Elizabeth Crafts, sign posts from Spellbinders were used as the gate posts, and a stamp from Jillibean Soup.  Placed everything on some fabulous bling cardstock from Bazzill Basics, and then covered the card base, made from Card Shoppe Cardstock, also from Bazzill Basics.

This is a great little birthday card.  I cut out a number of various sized circles and frames, using Bazzill Basics cardstock and metallic cardstock for the center.  Flowers are from an Elizabeth Craft die. I used white twine from American Crafts and a stamped sentiment from Lily Bee Design.   Again this is the boy; you can tell because he is wearing pants, but again it doesn't really matter, especially in this day and age!

Finally, a girl.  She is wearing a skirt.   Isn't she the cutest!  For this card I layered some colors behind the element punch out, cut and layered some flowers (these from Spellbinders) and attached them with brads.  The jewel borders are from Elizabeth Craft and I added a layered sentiment which was handprinted and embossed.
Layered elements and card base are cut from Bazzill Basics cardstock.

I think I will be using this collection a lot.  The punch out sheets can also be used for decoupage projects.  Each sheet comes with numbered elements. Lots of fun options for these.

We have all your favorite scrapbook and cardmaking supplies.

Coffee Love from Ciao Bella Paper

Crafting with these beautiful papers is the most inspiring thing I have done this decade!  Rich, dark and delicious. Perfect for coffee cards, journals, scrapbook pages and mixed media.

For these cards I used the 4x6" cutout journal tags from Ciao Bella's Buongiorno Italiano collection pack, then added a bit of layering with stamps from Picket Fence Designs and dies from Spellbinders.  All are backed onto Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe cardstock.  And, oh yes, I used lots of Espresso distress ink from Tim Holtz.

Here are two more:

The one on left added stamps from Picket Fence Designs, the one on right adds a rooster stamp from Flourishes.

Buongiorno Italiano
Enjoy your day, enjoy your coffee and give yourself some craft time!

Spring Market Birthday Cards

Cute cards made with fabulous papers from Carta Bella's Spring Market collection.  I love the florals, and the rain boots added the special touch.  A bit of fussy cutting, but I don't mind doing that, lol.
I added a stamped sentiment banner to each card and a few sequins.

These cards went to the Rainbow Donkey, childrens clothing store in Invermere.  They have the best clothing for kids of all ages, and now they have the cutest cards, too!

Other products used:  Bazzill Basics Cardshoppe cardstock, Hero Arts clear stamp, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, spsequins.

Minor Hockey Layout

My Favorite Hockey Player of all time
It is hockey season and I am looking at scrapbook pages already competed from previous years before I start on the ones for this year.   This page is simple and sweet.   Each year I get to play with team photos and have found all sorts of ways to preserve them.   I also document the names of players on the team, which I have blocked out here in compliance with privacy standards.

I used paper and stickers from a Mini Theme Hockey collection by Echo Park for this page. Hope it inspires you to sort through the hockey pictures!
