Three cards, one stamp

I am using a fun stamp here, from Brutus Monroe's Tea Time stamp set.   The cups were colored with various alcohol markers.  This stamp has so many possibilities.  I paired it with papers from BoBunny and Authentic and used some small tags and stamps to get some great sentiments.

Here are close ups:

For this card I used background paper from Authentic Tidings collection (yes, Christmas paper), a tag from Echo Park Coffee collection, the heart is a stamp and die from Studio Light, and a bit of Maya Road twine.

This colorful card is made up of a tag from BoBunny's Believe collection, backed onto cardstock from Spellbinders and Bazzill Basics.  This card is sure to put some cheer in somebody's day!

This last card is also created with BoBunny's Believe papers.  Love these colors!

Another day of cardmaking.  Hope it gives you some ideas!
Happy crafting!

Coffee Card with Alexandra Renke

Beautiful Alexandra Renke card

A few weeks back I created some coffee cards and will sharing with you over the next little while.  I start with this, made from a gorgeous sheet of Alexandra Renke Midori designer paper.  Basically a no-nonsense card.  to the pen, cup and smile tag I added the "little notes" tag and a flower from Prima Marketing.  And done!  Mounted the piece onto Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe cardstock.

Simple and fast is the way I like to make cards.  They don't all happen like that....  Hope the rain isn't getting you down!

Coffee Love from Ciao Bella Paper

Buongiorno

Crafting with these beautiful papers is the most inspiring thing I have done this decade!  Rich, dark and delicious. Perfect for coffee cards, journals, scrapbook pages and mixed media.

For these cards I used the 4x6" cutout journal tags from Ciao Bella's Buongiorno Italiano collection pack, then added a bit of layering with stamps from Picket Fence Designs and dies from Spellbinders.  All are backed onto Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe cardstock.  And, oh yes, I used lots of Espresso distress ink from Tim Holtz.

Here are two more:

The one on left added stamps from Picket Fence Designs, the one on right adds a rooster stamp from Flourishes.

Buongiorno Italiano
Enjoy your day, enjoy your coffee and give yourself some craft time!

Awning Coffee Cards

A few weeks back I did a rare market at the Invermere Coffee and Tea Festival.  Rare only because I do not usually do the market "thing".  It was a tremendous day and the coffee was great.  Here are a few of the cards I made for this special event, which is held annually in our little community.

Awning cards are fun to make and very easy.  There are so many ways to create them.  For these I decided to place the awning over the door of the cafe, and keep the cards fairly simple.  The awning is a simple addition, which is cut and scored and attached to the top of the finished card front.  My cards are 4x6 inch, so I cut the extra piece for the awning at 4x3.25 inches, scored at 1/4" at the top and 1/2 inch from the bottom.

Products used:

papers, from Fabscraps
barn door die, from Marianne Designs
picket fence die, and edging die on the bottom of the awning are from QuicKutz
signs are stickers from Mariah Johnson
poodle is chipboard, from Fabscraps
poodle chain is a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs
bicycle is from Simple Stories
The design is mounted on Card Shoppe cardstock from Bazzill Basics

Give awning cards a try. They fold up flat for mailing, and anyone would be thrilled to receive one!
