A good day for Christmas cards

It is overcast today and a bit cool, and I needed to put my craft table away for a while.  But, while that table is still out, I may as well finish a couple of Christmas cards.  After all Christmas is only 4 months away!!!

I am using the Penquin Joy rubber stamp from Art Impressions.  I had previously stamped a few of them and coloured them in with my Letraset alcohol markers.  Once that step is done, you would think it easy to finish a card, but no... no for me.

I did not have the exact shade of cardstock that I wanted, so opted for some different shades of blue, different patterns, and a bit of altering to bring the colours together.  Papers are from BoBunny, Fabscraps and 49 and Market.  I randomly stamped some snowflakes with a Tim Holtz stamp.  I rubbed shimmer on the snowflakes and the frame behind the little penquins using Magicals from Lindy's Stamp Gang, used a glitter pen from Sakura on the J O Y ornaments, and added a few Nuvo Jewel Drops (which I probably did not need, but I wanted to try them...)

I used white Card Shoppe from Bazzill as a base for the card.

I have more of the stamps coloured and ready to be mounted.  Hopefully, will finish before Christmas!
