Distress Oxide Inks - the trial

Today I thought I would give the new Oxide Inks a try and I'm loving what I see.

This is Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink.  I used the refill, and applied with a sponge applicator over patterned paper.  It is much thicker than regular distress ink and gives good coverage.

I sprayed liberally with water, and could see the change right away.  In this instance I let it dry naturally.

I had a project in mind - a campfire wine card.  I think this could be the perfect background!

Here's the finished card.  What do you think?

This journal tag is cut from BoBunny's Take a Hike cardstock, background is BoBunny's Double Dot cardstock altered with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Fossilized Amber.  Wine glasses stamped and colored with Letraset Pro Markers, (stamp from Dare 2B Artsy).  String is Maya Road; basic cardstock from Bazzill Basics.

I'd love to see your projects!
