Light switch covers

Have some paper you can't resist.  Try using it in simple home decor.  These electrical outlet covers were made pretty with one single sheet of Prima Marketing cardstock.  I couldn't resist.  While many outlets are hidden behind furniture and covered with plugs, I think fun projects like these are worth it.  A bit like wearing fancy underwear - no one can see it, but you know it's there!

Most covers you have in your home will be a standard size.  Cardstock was cut into 3-1/8 x 4-3/4 inch pieces and corners trimmed. I traced the openings onto each piece and cut them out with a craft knife.  Cardstock was adhered with Modge Podge (you will need to bend and shape a bit once it is on the switch cover to smooth into the openings).  Let each piece dry, trim where you need to and cover with a thick layer of Modge Podge.

This fabulous paper is "Nostalgia" from Prima Marketing Rossibelle collection.
