Here are some traditional Christmas cards with a bit of a twist. I love the Poinsettia die set from Spellbinders and use mine a lot (and I mean a lot!) For these cards I cut the poinsettias in green, and I cut some in foiled vellum as well which add a really different look once layered.
I used a pale yellow (Chiffon) cardstock for the background and cut a window and frame from Spellbinders Locking Loops die set and backed the flower with shapes cut from the Spruce Stems die from Cottage Cuts. The sentiment is from a stamp set from Impression Obsession.
Here is another one that was cut exactly the same, but instead of the spruce I used a flourish die from Die-Namics to back the flower.
The cardstock used in both of these cards is from Bazzill Basics, and the foiled vellum is from Crate Paper.
