I was going through some old sticker sheets today and what did I find? Birds of all kinds!
I have been focused of late on putting a little humor in my cards, so I snapped up the birds and got to crafting.
Regardless of the fact that these stickers are "ready to use", no card comes together without a bit of creative thought. I picked a sentiment stamp, and then had to decide how best to bring the birds together. The design behind the chicken and rooster are from a Prima Marketing stamp set. I used white cardstock for the design and placed it over some awesme patterned paper.
On this card I used stickers from Basic Grey, stamps from Prima Marketing and Heritage Makers, cardstock from Bazzill Basics and BoBunny, twine from Maya Road and inks from Tsukineko and Tim Holz/Ranger.
These bird stickers were too cute to ignore.
For this card I cut some travel cardstock into an offset circle shape with nesting dies. The two birds fit there quite well. I layered some leaves over, added the same sentiment as the previous card and done!
Travel paper is from Authentique, cardstock from Bazzill Basics, leave die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and bird stickers from Basic Grey.
Both of these cards are generic and can be used for a variety of occasions. They would be fun for wedding, anniversary, valentine, hostess or friendship cards. Go through your old sticker collections; you may be surprised at what you see!
