I had so much fun making these cards today with sweet CampOut papers from Bella Blvd. I started cutting the borders, but couldn't resist the 2x2 inch tags, which are the perfect size for cards. And, I used Bazzill Basics for the solid backgrounds and used their heavy Card Shoppe cardstock for my card bases.
Here's some closeups:
I cut the cute bear and trees from the Borders cardstock and used 3D adhesive to bring him out front. He is so cute.
These border strips were all cut separately and glued back together on the solid background. Two little brads were added to attach the 2x2 tag. It doesn't get any easier!
Border strips were cut and adhered to the background, 2x2 inch tag adhered to a square, scored piece of cardstock and simply wrapped.
Last, but certainly not least, I cut the 2x2 tag into a circle shape, and added a chipboard life saver, patterned paper from Carta Bella, and a bit of bling from Eyelet Outlet, plus a tiny bit of distress ink and Glossy Accents from Tim Holtz and Ranger.
That was my day. Hope you enjoyed the great weather on this August long weekend.
Make sure to order the CampOut collection. It is going fast!
