Man Style Tea Greeting Card

I always find masculine cards a challenge, but wanted to include some in a pack of tea cards I was sending off to the Banff Tea Co.  I came up with a few, including this fun card made with Authentique paper from the Rugged collection, and a teacup die from Cottage Cutz.   The sentiment I printed off my computer.
Of course, I used lots of distress ink (ground espresso).  If you have some fun masculine card ideas I would love to see them!

With enough tea, anything is possible....

Iced Tea Cards

I had some fun experimenting with and creating these iced tea embellishments.  And I am happy to share with you.  I stamped some glass shapes and `smooshed` them onto a few drops of Vintage Photo Distress Ink refill liquid.  I then took an ice cube stamp and randomly stamped these using the same refill ink.  After the glasses were dry I cut them out, dipped them into embossing ink and covered them with clear embossing powder.  I love these!  Background papers are from Webster`s Pages (The Good Life collection).  Perfectly frosted iced tea, just in time for our hot summer weather.

Here is a close up of the glasses; unfortunately you cannot see the shine in the photo.

Products used:
Hero Arts Stamps and Dies (Spill the Tea)
Tsukineko Versa Mark Ink
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Clearsnap Clear Embossing Powder
Wow Black Glint Embossing Powder
Webster`s Pages patterned papers
Bazzill Basics Cardshoppe cardstock

Canada Day 2019

With most of the 2020 Canada Day celebrations cancelled, I took the opportunity to scrapbook last year`s Canada Day parade photos.  Which means I am now caught up with Canada Day, in one album at least!
I won`t mention about the other 10 years of events and precious moments that I would still like to complete one day!

For this page I used paper and journal tags from Scrapbook Customs.  I love all their travel papers and customs printed items with the beautiful distress elements, and it is perfect for a young man with the whole world ahead of him.  I added maple leaves cut from a Tim Holtz die set and stamps from Photo Play`s O Canada stamp set.

  Yep.  All Caught Up!

See all our Scrapbook Customs products.

Miss you guys.  Hopefully things will get back to near normal soon and we can organize get a crop organized, or somehow get together!

In Wine there is Truth

Reminisce Paper and Spellbinders Dies

Thought I would share a nice wine card today.  We may all need a bit of wine after this first week of re-opening.  It was a bit nerve racking for some, including myself.

For this card I used paper and stickers from the Reminisce Wine collection and Wine Charm dies from Spellbinders.  I don't usually use stickers on my cards as I find them too flat, so for this I popped them onto heavy cardstock before attaching them to the card.  Everything was distressed with Ground Espresso Distress Ink.  It is clean and simple.

Have a great weekend.

Cheers!

Three cards, one stamp

I am using a fun stamp here, from Brutus Monroe's Tea Time stamp set.   The cups were colored with various alcohol markers.  This stamp has so many possibilities.  I paired it with papers from BoBunny and Authentic and used some small tags and stamps to get some great sentiments.

Here are close ups:

For this card I used background paper from Authentic Tidings collection (yes, Christmas paper), a tag from Echo Park Coffee collection, the heart is a stamp and die from Studio Light, and a bit of Maya Road twine.

This colorful card is made up of a tag from BoBunny's Believe collection, backed onto cardstock from Spellbinders and Bazzill Basics.  This card is sure to put some cheer in somebody's day!

This last card is also created with BoBunny's Believe papers.  Love these colors!

Another day of cardmaking.  Hope it gives you some ideas!
Happy crafting!

Coffee Card with Alexandra Renke

Beautiful Alexandra Renke card

A few weeks back I created some coffee cards and will sharing with you over the next little while.  I start with this, made from a gorgeous sheet of Alexandra Renke Midori designer paper.  Basically a no-nonsense card.  to the pen, cup and smile tag I added the "little notes" tag and a flower from Prima Marketing.  And done!  Mounted the piece onto Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe cardstock.

Simple and fast is the way I like to make cards.  They don't all happen like that....  Hope the rain isn't getting you down!
